Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data this website collects and how we handle it. We keep it as simple as possible: we only collect what we need to answer your questions and manage bookings.
Who we are

What we collect
- Contact and enquiry form: your name, email address, optional phone number, the dates and number of guests you ask about, and your message.
- Bookings: if you book with us, we record your name, contact details, stay dates and payment status to manage your stay.
- Visit statistics (only if you accept cookies): Google Analytics records how you use the site, such as the pages you view, roughly where you are (country and city), your device and browser, and how you found us. We only see these as anonymous totals.
- Spam protection: a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, so we can limit the number of messages sent from one connection. The original IP address is not stored.
Why and on what basis
We use your data only to answer your enquiry and, if you book, to prepare and manage your stay (steps prior to and performance of a contract, and your consent when you send the form). Visit statistics are based only on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
Where it goes
Enquiries are stored in our own database at our hosting provider (Hostinger, in the EU) and sent by email to our mailbox at Google Gmail, which may process data outside the EU under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Ireland Ltd. processes the visit statistics for us; Google may transfer data to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Nobody else receives your data.
Like every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (including IP addresses) for security and to keep the site running. These are deleted automatically after a short period.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are deleted automatically after 2 years. Booking records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting obligations.
Cookies
We only use cookies that are needed for the site to work, plus Google Analytics cookies if you accept them. When you first visit, a banner asks for your choice: analytics cookies are only placed after you click “Accept”, and nothing is tracked if you click “Reject”. Your choice is saved in your browser for one year. You can change it at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

Fonts and images are served from our own server.
Video: the video tour is hosted on YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play; it then plays from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced (youtube-nocookie.com) service, under Google’s privacy policy.
WhatsApp and social media: if you contact us via WhatsApp or follow our Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or YouTube pages, those services process your data under their own privacy policies. The website only links to them; it does not load anything from them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict its use or receive a copy of it, object to its use, or withdraw your consent at any time, by emailing casagolfysol@gmail.com. You may also file a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, aepd.es).
